The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning offers programs, events, and services to meet the instructional and professional development needs of faculty, academic professionals, and graduate students.

Pre-Semester TA Training
Programs to prepare new teaching assistants (TAs and ITAs) for their teaching duties

Teaching Certificate Program
An opportunity for instructors to systematically develop new skills and understandings and to document the process

Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL)
An initiative to engage instructors in a scholarly exploration of teaching and learning

Service-Learning
Programs, services, and resources to support service-learning pedagogy and the scholarship of engagement

Faculty Events
Special events (retreats, colloquia, forums) designed primarily for faculty

Teaching Workshops & Reading Groups
Workshops on teaching topics for faculty, academic professionals, and teaching assistants; discussion (reading) groups that meet regularly to discuss a book or topical readings

FAST3 Workshops
A fee-based program of hands-on computer workshops, not limited to people affiliated with the University

Consultation Services
Observations and/or consultations on teaching topics for individuals or campus units
