Workshop: Strategies for Service-Learning Reflection
Friday, Dec 4, 12:00-1:30 pm
428 Armory Building

Service-learning is an experiential teaching strategy that combines meaningful community service with academic instruction. Through structured reflection, students connect their service experiences to course concepts and develop a deeper appreciation of a discipline. Service-learning can foster integrative learning, critical and reflective thinking, personal development, and a sense of civic responsibility in students. This workshop will focus on designing effective and creative reflection strategies to promote learning. Ideas for reflective activities and assignments, including a variety of service-learning journal formats and reflective prompts, will be provided. Click here to register.
